By level 4, talking and having more complex discussions are a lot easier for you now. You can easily get through the day to day and are looking to improve your comprehension of more complicated scenarios. In this course, we continue using everyday newspaper and magazine articles but increase the difficulty and also add small writing exercises to the curriculum. These writing exercises will also help you speak in a more grammatically correct way. Our level 4 discussion course is on level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR). While we do not specifically teach to these tests, students at this level should be able to successfully pass the Dutch inburgerings examen (Dutch exams for citizenship/residency).
In the level 4 discussion class, the School for Dutch tries to match each course to the skills and interests of its students. We’ll take a look at articles, podcasts, tv shows, films, and more that you might see everyday, in real life. Because of the bespoke nature of each course, it is not uncommon for students to take this course 2 or 3 times in a row. Its limited number of hours and the small, attentive class size mean that no two rounds are the same.
Take our level test and see if our level 4: discussion course is right for you!
